Red Hat is bringing deeper security capabilities to its popular Red Hat OpenShift enterprise Kubernetes platform through the acquisition of container and Kubernetes security vendor StackRox. The deal is the latest part of Red Hat’s road map to deliver a single, holistic platform that enables customers to build, deploy and securely run nearly any application across hybrid clouds, according to the company.
