It’s June of 2017, and Microsoft is still patching Windows XP

Microsoft has posted its monthly security update, this time addressing 96 different CVE-listed security vulnerabilities in its products, along with a set of emergency patches for unsupported versions of Windows targeted by the latest Shadowbrokers dump. A special bulletin from Microsoft said the emergency update includes fixes for older versions of Windows and Windows Server dating back to XP and Server 2003, as well as Windows XP Embedded and Windows 7 Embedded.
