As part of the criminal case against a former student of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), a judge in Puerto Rico sentenced him to serve 13 months in federal prison. The former student, Iván Santell-Velázquez (aka Slay3r_r00t) was accused of hacking over a dozen of the university’s female classmates’ email and Snapchat accounts.
