A sophisticated remote access Trojan (RAT) dubbed Hacker Door has resurfaced, sharing many similarities to the initial 2004 version but with updated and advanced functionality, reports researchers at Cylance. Hacker Door compromises a backdoor and rootkit components, then engages in a set of typical remote commands once it is active, Cylance researchers say.
