If you haven’t read over the AWS shared responsibility model for security yet, I strongly suggest you do so now. While some people still like to debate about whether or not the responsibility of security should fall with the tenant or the infrastructure (because outsourcing infrastructure means outsourcing security responsibility as well), lines were already drawn in the sand years ago, and then updated and re-drawn.
